At your first session, we’ll review your intake documents, talk about what’s bringing you to counseling, and start creating goals together. We’ll also begin identifying possible paths for growth and change. If you’re using insurance, the first session will include some diagnostic questions as part of that process.
It’s completely normal if you don’t feel immediate change in the first few sessions. The early phase of counseling is about getting to know you and your experiences — we have to truly understand something before we can change it.
Our therapists each set their own private pay rates and offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. If you’re using insurance, your session cost will depend on your plan’s coverage. All credit card payments are securely processed through Stripe.

At this time, we are only offering sessions via secure telehealth. This allows for flexible scheduling and accessibility no matter where you are in Texas.
Following your consultation call, we’ll set up your secure client portal and send links to complete your intake forms. Please submit all forms before your first session to ensure a smooth start.
We understand that life happens and plans can change. To respect both your time and our therapists’ schedules, please review our cancellation policy below:
Notice Window: We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged a $50 fee. This policy also applies to intake sessions.
Definition of a No-Show: Arriving 15 minutes or more past your scheduled appointment time without prior communication will be considered a no-show.
One Freebie: We offer one late cancellation or no-show fee waiver per year, as a courtesy.
Additional Exceptions: Any further fee waivers are at your therapist’s discretion, typically reserved for emergencies or unavoidable circumstances.
