Yes. Our 8-hour premarital counseling program fulfills the educational requirements for participation in the Twogether in Texas program. Couples who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion that may be presented when applying for a marriage license in Texas. Eligible couples may qualify for a reduced marriage license fee and waiver of the 72-hour waiting period.
Please note that the course must be completed no more than one year prior to applying for a marriage license to be eligible for the Twogether in Texas program.
Unfortunately, no. Premarital counseling is offered on a private-pay basis only and cannot be billed through insurance.
Most insurance plans require a mental health diagnosis to cover counseling services. Because premarital counseling is considered a preventive or relationship-enrichment service rather than treatment for a diagnosed mental health condition, it is generally not eligible for insurance reimbursement.

Yes. All sessions are conducted live and virtually through a secure telehealth platform, allowing couples throughout Texas to participate from the comfort of their home. Virtual sessions provide the same structured curriculum, interactive exercises, and personalized guidance as in-person services.
The program fee includes eight clinician-led premarital counseling sessions, personalized guidance from Gottman-trained therapists, as well as comprehensive take-home material and relationship tools. Couples who attend all eight session will receive a Certificate of Completion. Couples who choose the discounted package option receive a reduced rate compared to paying for individual sessions.
